Ambedkarnagar, March 10 -- A devotee died and several others were injured after a swarm of bees attacked people at a fair in Ambedkarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh today.
The incident occurred at the Aughad Baba shrine in the Nursery Bazaar area under Jalalpur police station limits, where a weekly fair is held and a large number of devotees gather for prayers.
According to officials, a beehive was located on a tree inside the temple premises. Suddenly, a swarm of bees emerged from the hive and attacked the crowd, causing panic among the devotees.
