Lucknow, June 12 -- An IndiGo flight from Ahmedabad to Delhi via Lucknow made an emergency landing at Choudhury Charan Singh International Airport here today due to a bomb threat.

While the plane was in the air, a tissue paper with the word "bomb" written on it was found in the toilet. The pilot then alerted Air Traffic Control (ATC) and requested permission for an emergency landing.

ATC alerted airport authorities and security agencies, then granted landing permission. Flight 6E-2111 landed at Lucknow Airport at 11:15 a.m. All 180 passengers and their luggage were then disembarked.
