Lucknow, Sept. 11 -- The Uttar Pradesh government is taking major steps towards making classroom teaching more effective and learning more useful for children in grades 1 to 5 in primary and composite schools under the PM Shri scheme. An amount of Rs 11.37 crore has been approved for the provision of teaching-learning materials (TLM), student learning kits, and student diaries in the year 2026-27, which will be released for expenditure at the school level.
