Varanasi, April 29 -- The president of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee, Ajay Rai, visited the house of the victim in the high-profile Pindra murder case amid heavy police deployment today and consoled the bereaved family.
Despite alleged attempts by the administration to restrict his movement from Lucknow to Varanasi, Rai managed to meet the grieving family and expressed his condolences.
