Lucknow, June 10 -- Approximately 31 lakh people have been screened so far under the ongoing 100-day 'TB-Mukt Bharat Abhiyan' in Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the identification of 1.43 lakh TB patients.
Notably, among these identified patients, over 41,000 individuals were found asymptomatic. Treatment has been initiated for all patients.
Reviewing the 100-day campaign on Wednesday, Amit Kumar Ghosh, Additional Chief Secretary (Medical and Health), directed officials to identify areas lacking expected progress, strengthen micro-plans, and intensify door-to-door outreach and public awareness activities.
