Lucknow, March 21 -- Unseasonal rains, strong winds, and overcast skies throughout the day on Friday in Uttar Pradesh have heightened the anxiety of farmers. Rabi crops, particularly wheat, mustard, and potatoes, which are currently in the final stages of harvesting, face the looming threat of severe damage.

According to reports received from several districts across the state and the Bundelkhand region, intermittent rain and strong winds have disrupted harvesting operations. Standing crops in the fields have begun to fall, raising fears that both yield and quality will be adversely affected.
