Pune, April 22 -- The India Meteorological Department has issued a major warning of unseasonal rainfall accompanied by strong winds across regions of Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan, Marathwada, and Vidarbha.

A yellow alert has been declared, indicating the possibility of moderate but potentially disruptive weather conditions. Cloudy skies have been observed in several parts of the state.

On Tuesday, heavy rainfall was recorded in Parbhani, Amravati, Hingoli, Yavatmal, and Sindhudurg, with reports of hailstorms in multiple areas.
