Dimapur, Sept. 14 -- Global apparel retail giant UNIQLO of Japan has selected 41 young students from Nagaland for retail positions in its stores.

The Investment & Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN) and UNIQLO have collaborated to give youngsters in the state the opportunity to experience UNIQLO, resulting in the selection of 41 for retail positions with one of the world's leading apparel brands.

The UNIQLO talent engagement initiative connected with more than 450 students from various colleges and institutes at the UNIQLO Xperience Day on August 21, followed by a hiring day held on September 11 that saw more than 130 registrations and over 90 candidates appearing for interviews.
