Ranchi, March 18 -- The Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL) has issued a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) to ensure safe and uninterrupted electricity supply during the upcoming Sarhul and Ram Navami festivals. As per the guidelines, power supply will not be suspended during processions and religious events across the state.
According to the SOP, the height of flags, DJs, and tableaux in processions must not exceed 4 meters (approximately 13 feet) to prevent contact with overhead electric lines.
