Mumbai, Sept. 7 -- BJP chief spokesperson Navnath Ban on Monday alleged that NCP-SP MLA Rohit Pawar and the Congress were attempting to politicise the issue of MPSC aspirants by using students to further their own political interests.

Addressing a press conference at the BJP state office, Ban said that when the paper-leak incidents occurred during the tenure of the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, Rohit Pawar, Nana Patole, Supriya Sule and Vijay Wadettiwar had remained silent.

"If he (Rohit Pawar) is concerned about students' interests, he should make public the number of students who have received free education through his institution," Ban said.
