Thiruvananthapuram, May 30 -- Kerala's efforts to advance sustainable development received international attention as Gautam Varad Narayan, Asia-Pacific Region Manager of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), met Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan to discuss potential cooperation between the United Nations and the state government.
The meeting, held at the Chief Minister's Office, focused on ways in which the UN and allied international institutions could support Kerala's sustainable development goals.
Gautam Varad Narayan praised the new government and the Chief Minister for the importance they have placed on sustainability and long-term development planning.
