Bhubaneswar, Sept. 18 -- The Odisha government has revised the schedule for delimitation of wards and reservation of seats ahead of the forthcoming general elections to municipalities, Notified Area Councils (NACs) and municipal corporations in the state, said officials on Friday.
Under the revised schedule issued by the Housing and Urban Development Department, district collectors will publish draft notifications on ward delimitation and seat reservation on September 24, inviting objections and suggestions till October 3.
Preliminary notifications will be issued on October 7, with appeals against them allowed before the department from October 7 to 21.
