London, March 9 -- With the West Asia war hammering the UK's economy, Prime Minister Keir Starmer, while delivering his national address, said that London is talking to other nations about what can be done jointly to minimise the economic impact on people and businesses, as the conflict has further worsened Europe's market security, energy prices and mounting inflation exacerbating its housing problems, further adding to the damage already done by the Russia-Ukraine war.

"The longer this goes on, the more likely the potential for an impact on our economy, impact into the lives and households of everybody and every business," he said, pointing that the government's job is to "get ahead of that", reports BBC.
