Panchkula, Sept. 2 -- The Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) has revised its Standard Operating Procedure for shifting electricity poles and lines up to 11 KV at the request of consumers/applicants.
According to the sales circular issued by the Chief Engineer/Commercial, UHBVN, Panchkula, the revised procedure sets lump-sum rates that consumers must pay to shift electricity lines, depending on the line type, conductor size, span, and pole height.
On one hand, the rate for a LT line using 50 sq mm ACSR conductor with a 30-metre span has been fixed at Rs 549 per metre for erection of a new line, while the rate for the erection and dismantlement of the line has been fixed at Rs 409 per metre.
