Jammu, April 21 -- union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh today enquired about the patients undergoing treatment for injuries received in a horrific bus accident near Ramnagar, during a visit to the Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur.
Dr Singh met the injured patients and assured them of all possible assistance.
Later, addressing the media, the Minister lauded the swift response of all agencies involved.
On Monday, over 20 passengers died and 62 others were injured when an overloaded private passenger bus plunged nearly 100 metres down a hillside crushing an auto-rickshaw before landing upside down on the road below at village Kaghote near Ramnagar in Udhampur district.
