Yavatmal, June 27 -- : Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray on Saturday intensified his attack on the BJP, citing the alleged misappropriation of donations at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya to accuse the ruling party of betraying Hindus while exploiting religious sentiments for political gains.
Addressing a public rally in the Yavatmal-Washim Lok Sabha constituency, represented by rebel MP Sanjay Deshmukh who recently joined the Shiv Sena, Thackeray declared that the Shiv Sena (UBT) would spearhead a campaign for a "BJP-free Ram", asserting that the BJP's version of Hindutva was based on deception rather than faith.
