Mumbai, Aug. 1 -- Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray and party MLA Aaditya Thackeray on Saturday launched a scathing attack on the Centre over the alleged police crackdown on protesting students, rejecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's reported remarks that he had "forgiven" the agitating youth.

Targeting the Prime Minister's video statement, Uddhav Thackeray questioned the government's stance towards the protesters."You first labelled these children as 'cockroaches' and 'misguided.' Now you say you have forgiven them, but will these children ever forgive you?" he asked.
