Hyderabad, Aug. 13 -- Ride-hailing platform Uber on Thursday announced expansion of its operations to 100 more cities across India, including 12 additional cities in Telangana, taking its footprint to over 225 cities across the country.

In Telangana, Uber will initially launch Uber Bike services in the 12 cities, offering an affordable mobility option for everyday journeys and first- and last-mile connectivity.

The expansion would take its services beyond major urban centres and deepen its presence in smaller cities, the company said in a release here.
