Abu Dhabi, May 12 -- The United Arab Emirates' main gas-processing complex, one of the world's largest, will not resume full capacity production until next year following damage caused by Iranian attacks during the recent war.
ADNOC Gas said its Habshan gas-processing complex, one of the world's largest facilities and a key supplier of gas across the UAE, is currently operating at about 60 percent capacity, Al Jazeera reported.
The company expects to restore output to around 80 percent by the end of 2026, with full capacity projected to return in 2027.
In its first-quarter results statement, the company reported a net income of $1.1 billion, a 15 percent decline compared with the same period last year.
