Lalitpur, March 21 -- In two incidents reported on Saturday in Lalitpur, three people-including a toddler-lost their lives after falling from tractors while returning home from fields amid sudden rainfall.

In the first incident, which took place under the Banpur police station area in village Bharauni, a 75-year-old woman, Gaurabai Ahirwar, was traveling back home with her two-and-a-half-year-old great-granddaughter, Radhika, after completing wheat threshing work.

Due to unexpected rain, the family loaded the grain onto a tractor trolley and began their return journey. During the journey, the tractor reportedly went out of control, causing Gaurabai and the child to fall off and sustain critical injuries.
