Bengaluru, July 14 -- A routine verification of government records has unearthed an alleged identity fraud in Karnataka's Chikkaballapur district, leading to the arrest of two Pakistani nationals who are accused of illegally obtaining Indian voter identity cards and a ration card by concealing their nationality.
The accused, Farah Naz and her son Mohammed Fardeen, residents of Dasaiahgari Palli village in Bagepalli taluk, were arrested after the district administration cancelled the documents issued to them and the Bagepalli Tahsildar lodged a formal complaint.
