New Delhi, March 30 -- In a significant counter-terror operation, the Delhi Police special cell has captured Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) commander Shabbir Ahmed Lone in a coordinated strike close to the Bangladesh frontier. Officials familiar with the matter revealed that Lone had been operating a LeT module from a concealed base on the outskirts of Dhaka.
The breakthrough came after a painstaking two-month chase that was personally overseen by Police Commissioner Satish Golcha.
