Baghpat, April 25 -- Two teenage students died early on Saturday after their motorcycle crashed into a gate near a petrol pump on the Rataul-Loni road in Uttar Pradesh's Baghpat district, police said.
The victims, Shahzad, 16, and Ayan, 14, were residents of Rataul and were students of Madrasa Mohsin-ul-Uloom, where they were getting training to become Hafiz-e-Quran. The accident occurred around 3:30 am when the two, who had gone out on a motorcycle, were returning from a petrol pump.
They were travelling alongside two other youths on a separate bike when their motorcycle reportedly went out of control and collided with a gate. The impact threw both riders into a nearby drain, leaving them critically injured.
