Kolkata, July 11 -- Two Deputy Commissioner rank officials of the Kolkata police have been suspended for posting allegedly derogatory content concerning West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari on their social media handles, sources said on Friday.
The city police headquarters Lalbazar slapped the suspension on Deputy Commissioner (North 3) Bidhan Saha and Deputy Commissioner (Port 2) Partha Pratim Das.
According to Lalbazar sources, DC (Port) Partha Pratim Das had posted a "controversial" video opposing the state government and the Chief Minister.
