Kolhapur/Satara, June 21 -- A septuagenarian and his teenage granddaughter were killed while five other persons were seriously injured when a tempo traveler in which they were travelling rammed into a truck in front of D Mart in Satara, on the Pune-Bangalore national highway, on Sunday morning.
According to police, 14 devotees from Kolhapur district were on their way to Jejuri for 'darshan' of Goddess Shri Khandoba by a tempo traveller, when the vehicle rammed into a stationary truck parked on the roadside.
