Motihari, May 1 -- In a major crackdown on drug trafficking, police seized a large consignment of 12,000 narcotic injections and arrested two international traffickers near the India-Nepal border in the Raxaul police station area of East Champaran district on Friday.

According to police, acting on a tip-off that a car carrying a large consignment of narcotic injections would pass through Mahadeva Sainik Road, a special team was formed under the leadership of the Assistant Superintendent of Police-cum-Station House Officer of Raxaul.

The team intercepted the vehicle and conducted a thorough search.
