Hamirpur (HP), April 1 -- : Two police constables of Bhoranj police station have been placed under suspension and sent to policelines till further orders for dereliction of their duties by the SP, Hamirpur, said an official spokesman.
A week ago, these two constables from the Bhoranj station seized 'Chitta' (heroin) from two individuals at a private hotel in the area; however, they subsequently failed to even register a case against them at the Bhoranj Police Station. Instead, they reportedly retained the seized contraband in their own possession.
