New Delhi, July 24 -- Delhi Police have arrested two alleged members of an interstate vehicle theft gang and recovered 11 stolen motorcycles and scooties along with an auto-rickshaw allegedly used to transport the stolen vehicles, officials said on Friday.
Police said the arrests led to the detection of 11 motor vehicle theft cases registered at different police stations across the city.
The case was registered after a Bajaj Discover motorcycle was reported stolen from Chhatarpur on the intervening night of July 15-16. An e-FIR under Section 305(B) (Theft of vehicles) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was lodged at Mehrauli police station.
