Hyderabad, May 25 -- The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Monday caught two government officials red-handed in separate bribery cases in Warangal and Hyderabad districts.

In the first case, Ganti Srikanth, Divisional Executive Engineer in the Irrigation and Command Area Development (I&CAD) Department, currently posted at Palakurthi in Warangal district, was trapped by the ACB Warangal Range while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a contractor at his residence in Bhavani Nagar, Hanumakonda.

According to the ACB release, the officer had allegedly demanded the bribe for recording final measurements in M-books and processing pending bills related to the construction of 10 double-bedroom houses executed by the complainant....
