Barabanki, Feb. 28 -- The bodies of a youth and girl were found hanging from a guava tree inside the premises of a locked house on Friday morning in Barabanki district. The incident occurred in Lalpur Karauta village under the Mohammadpur Khala Police Station area.
According to villagers, the guava tree from which the bodies were found was bent, and the feet of the deceased were touching the ground, raising suspicion among locals. Police reached the spot after being alerted by villagers and sent the bodies for postmortem examination. Officials said the exact cause of death will be confirmed after the report.
