New Delhi, Aug. 10 -- Delhi Police have detained two foreign nationals for allegedly overstaying in India without valid documentation, police said on Monday.

The two were traced during 'Operation Vista 1.0' and identified as Cosmos Adele alias Cosmos Adade, a Ghanaian national, and Ngwbueze Ekeh, a Nigerian national.

Police said both individuals were produced before the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO), Delhi, and subsequently sent to the detention centre in Lampur after completion of the required legal procedure.

The special drive was launched on the directions of Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka District) Kushal Pal Singh and the operation was conducted under the supervision of ACP, Operations Cell, Subhash Malik.
