New Delhi, May 28 -- Two elderly women, both around 80 years old, were found dead inside their residence in Central Delhi's New Rajinder Nagar on Wednesday.
The police were informed by domestic worker after a foul smell started emanating from the house.
A senior Police official said that information was received at around 10:30 am from a domestic worker who cleaned the porch area.
She informed police that all doors of the house were closed and a strong foul smell was coming from inside the premises.
A police team reached the spot and found two women, identified as Chandra Kanta (80) and Saroj Bala (80), lying inside a room. One body was found on a bed, while the other was lying on the floor. Both women were declared dead by a CAT Ambula...
