Imphal, July 16 -- Security forces and Manipur Police arrested two alleged drug dealers in separate operations carried out in Thoubal district over the past two days, recovering a substantial quantity of suspected narcotic substances and cash believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking.
On July 14, Manipur Police arrested Asem Somanda Singh, a resident of Khekman Makha Leikai in Thoubal district, from his residence. During the operation, police seized 500 strips of banned tablets and 30 bottles of banned syrup, all suspected to be contraband.
