Chhapra, Oct. 7 -- A 72-year-old woman and a 76-year-old man drowned in floodwaters in Bihar's Saran district.
Police said here on Wednesday that the incident took place under the Maker police station area when Rajeshwari Devi of Masuria village and Rajendra Sharma of Kajichak village went out to relieve themselves and accidentally entered deep floodwaters and died.
The bodies were recovered from the floodwaters and sent to the Sadar Hospital for post-mortem examination.
