New Delhi, April 4 -- Delhi Police has apprehended two Bangladeshi women who were allegedly living illegally in the national capital while posing as domestic helpers in the Shalimar Bagh area.
According to officials, the action was carried out by the Foreigner Cell of the North-West District following specific inputs about undocumented migrants seeking work as house maids.
During the operation, the two women were intercepted and initially claimed to be Indian citizens. However, their inconsistent responses raised suspicion, leading to further verification.
