Gadchiroli, July 25 -- : Police have arrested two persons for allegedly attempting to spread fear by displaying Naxal banners and distributing pamphlets in the Pipli Burgi area of Etapalli taluka a few days ago, officials said on Saturday.
The accused have been identified as Shiva Anil Mishri (25), a resident of Tadunnagar in Pakhanjur, Chhattisgarh, and Rohit Ranjit Malik (25), a resident of Vateli village in Etapalli taluka of Gadchiroli district.
According to police, on July 12, red cloth banners and pamphlets carrying the name of a Naxal organisation were found at two locations near Jijawandi Tola village, about five kilometres from the Pipli Burgi police outpost.
