Panchkula, June 4 -- In a major breakthrough, Panchkula Police arrested two alleged shooters linked to the Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara gangs following a late-night shootout, chase and encounter that began after an attack on a local businessman in Sector 5 of Panchkula.
The accused, identified as Jaswinder of Ludhiana and Harpreet of Hoshiarpur, were apprehended after an exchange of fire with police near the Mattawala flyover. Both sustained bullet injuries to their legs during the encounter and were later shifted to PGIMER, Chandigarh, after receiving initial treatment at the Civil Hospital, Panchkula.
