Bhopal, May 23 -- After being on the run for the past 10 days, Samarth Singh, husband of deceased Twisha Sharma, reached a court at Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh to surrender on Friday evening. The Jabalpur Police took him into custody, and handed him over to a team of Bhopal Police present in Jabalpur in Samarth's wait.
Soon after taking Samarth into custody, the Bhopal police left by road from Jabalpur to Bhopal, where they are expected to reach late night Friday.
From the Jabalpur court, the Jabalpur police took Samarth to the Badi Omti Police Station there.
According to Omti Police Station In-Charge Rajpal Singh Baghel, the Bhopal Police took custody of Samarth Singh, and soon after left for Bhopal with him.
