Bhopal, May 28 -- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday arrested retired judge Giribala Singh (63) after questioning her for seven hours at her home in Bhopal, in connection with the case of the suspicious death of her daughter-in-law, Twisha Sharma (33).
The arrest came a day after the Madhya Pradesh High Court at Jabalpur quashed Giribala Singh's anticipatory bail late evening on Wednesday.
The CBI team probing the case reached Giribala Singh's house at Katara Hills locality in the Bagh Mughaliya extension area at around 10 AM on Thursday. After questioning her for seven hours, the CBI formally arrested her.
