Agartala, Aug. 7 -- In an intensified effort to combat narcotics, Tripura Police carried out a coordinated anti-drug operation across various parts of Agartala in the last 24 hours, which led to the detention of 23 individuals suspected of being involved in drug peddling and consumption.
The special enforcement drive was a joint effort by personnel from East Agartala Police Station, Maharaj Ganj out Post, and College Tilla out Post, all under the guidance of senior police officials.
According to police, the detainees include both suspected drug users and individuals allegedly involved in distributing narcotic substances, with legal action initiated against them as per the law.
