Chennai, Aug. 14 -- Cornering the principal opposition DMK, senior Tamil Nadu minister and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) leader CTR Nirmal Kumar on Friday charged the Dravidian major with surrendering to the BJP to protect itself from corruption cases.
"Earlier they were in a secret pact, but now it is very open. DMK Parliamentary Party leader Kanimozhi taking part in the tea party hosted by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, which was boycotted by the INDIA Bloc, is proof of their coming together in the open," he told the media at the secretariat.
He also cited DMK president MK Stalin's reasoning that whoever the party talks to is for the good, to drive home the point that the party had already made up its mind to team up with the BJP. Further...
