Chennai, May 10 -- Heralding a major change and scripting a new chapter in Tamil Nadu politics, the fledgling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) founder and actor-politician C Joseph Vijay was on Sunday sworn in as the 13th Chief Minister of the state, ending the nearly 60-year-long duopoly of the DMK and the AIADMK with a stunning performance at the hustings.
