Hingoli, Aug. 19 -- : Gandhian activist and Mahatma Gandhi's great-grandson Tushar Gandhi on Wednesday praised the youth-led movement at Jantar Mantar and lauded the leadership of Abhijit Dipke saying the agitation reminded him of the Satyagraha movement.
Speaking after meeting youth leader Abhijit in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Gandhi said he had come to the city with the desire to meet him and congratulate him for the manner in which he led the movement at Jantar Mantar.
"I had not met Abhijit earlier. When I came to Sambhajinagar today, I wanted to meet him as a goodwill gesture. I could not go to Jantar Mantar despite wanting to, so I felt it was important for me to meet a leader of the youth," Gandhi said.
