Tirumala, June 14 -- Tirumala witnessed a heavy influx of pilgrims over the weekend, with more than 2.42 lakh devotees visiting the hill shrine during the last three days as the two-month summer vacation period draws to a close.

According to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), a total of 2,42,894 pilgrims visited Tirumala during the three days.

Despite the heavy rush, TTD maintained uninterrupted services and continuous monitoring to ensure hassle-free darshan for devotees arriving from different parts of the country.

Acting on the directions of senior authorities, TTD officials closely supervised arrangements round the clock.
