Washington, July 23 -- President Donald Trump has warned Iran that every missile, rocket, or drone fired at a ship passing through the Strait of Hormuz would trigger a US strike on Iranian infrastructure, including bridges and power plants.
Invoking the imagery of a "biblical ledger," Trump framed his threat as a reckoning in which each attack would be recorded and answered with a corresponding act of retaliation.
Trump said that for every missile, rocket, or drone fired at a vessel, the United States would respond by striking an Iranian bridge or power facility.
"For every missile, rocket or drone fired at a ship, we will bomb one Iranian bridge or power plant," Trump said.
