Satish SethKalayat/ Kaithal, Oct. 31 -- In a tragic road accident near village Simla on the Chandigarh Hisar National Highway near Kalayat, the driver of a truck loaded with methanol was burnt alive when it collided with a vehicle parked on the roadside laden with paddy.
After the collision, a massive fire broke out in the truck filled with methanol. The fire took a huge form in no time and the driver got trapped in the cabin of the truck and was burnt to death on the spot.
Police received information about the incident on number 112 around night. As soon as the information was received, police and fire department teams reached the spot.
