Agartala, Aug. 8 -- Tripura will operationalise six new Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) with approval from the union Ministry of Tribal Affairs, strengthening residential education facilities for tribal students across the state, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma said.
He expressed gratitude to union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram for the ministry's support in ensuring the smooth functioning of the newly established institutions. Debbarma emphasized that the initiative will significantly improve residential education for tribal students and facilitate the expansion of quality education in tribal-dominated areas of the state.
