Agartala, May 14 -- In a significant move to elevate Tripura's globally renowned Queen Pineapple, the state government is gearing up to host a special Pineapple Festival in New Delhi from June 27 to 29.
The initiative seeks to highlight Tripura's premium pineapple variety, foster stronger market connections, and bolster international appreciation for the state's agricultural heritage.
To ensure the event's smooth execution, a high-level preparatory meeting was convened at the State Secretariat in Agartala. The session was led by Tripura Agriculture Minister Ratan Lal Nath and Member of Parliament Rajib Bhattacharjee, alongside senior officials from departments such as Agriculture, Horticulture, Forest, and Handicrafts.
