Agartala, June 30 -- The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and Department of Health, Tripura, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen the state's diagnostic infrastructure under the Prime Minister's Fund, signifying a major advancement in Tripura's healthcare sector.
As per the agreement, Tripura will receive 48 AI-powered portable handheld X-ray machines, three 1.5 Tesla MRI scanners, and three Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) mammography systems, which will be installed at district hospitals in Dhalai, North Tripura, and Gomati, significantly enhancing access to modern diagnostic services.
