Agartala, Feb. 25 -- Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare Minister of Tripura Ratan Lal Nath urged the central government to allocate additional funds for undertaking projects aimed at benefiting farmers in the state, including facilitation for the cultivation of hybrid paddy across 30,000 hectares.
During a financial review meeting on Wednesday, chaired by union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, to assess the progress of central projects under the Department of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare in Tripura, Nath flagged the issue, seeking urgent action from the centre.
